Dr. Stuart Weiss, MD, FACEP, FAAP, CBCP
Dr. Stuart Weiss is an internationally known expert in the field of business continuity planning for large gatherings and special events. He is the founder of Intelligent Crowd Solutions, a consulting company specializing in business continuity planning, exercise development, and crisis management for special event and event production clients. Dr. Weiss serves as the medical director for several world renowned events and has written numerous business continuity plans. He is board certified in Emergency Medicine and Pediatrics and is a Certified Business Continuity Professional. Dr. Weiss is also founder and chief medical officer of MedPrep Consulting Group which provides disaster and pandemic planning services to events, companies and governments around the world.
Christian Laquidara
Christian Laquidara brings over 30 years’ experience in telecommunications and CCTV in the special events industry. He has managed the sales, service and relations around the country for such customers as The Boston and New York Marathons, The Department of Homeland Security, And The Republican and Democratic National Conventions. Mr. Laquidara was one of the key players in the design and implementation of the first unified command center built for the Boston Marathon after the 2013 bombings. In addition to his role at iCrowd, Mr. Laquidara owns and operates All-Comm Technologies Inc., and DC Rentals , two highly recognized telecommunications and rental companies headquartered in Boston with assets throughout the country. Mr. Laquidara also has interests in other communications companies such as OneVoice LLC. out of N.Y.
Jim Heim
Mr. Heim has more than twenty years of experience and success in producing large-scale world-class sports and entertainment events both in-stadium and open-air mass participation venues. From his pioneering work with New York Road Runners, including serving as Race Director for the TCS New York City Marathon, to his time with the Philadelphia Eagles during which they moved from Veterans Stadium to the new Lincoln Financial Field, Jim has developed a well-deserved international reputation as a selfless leader, innovator, and collaborator who has an enduring commitment to excellence. Jim was appointed to the NYC Mayor’s Citywide Events Advisory Group with the mission of re-imagining event models and standards for safely proceeding with events in the wake of the pandemic.
